Sancta Maria – Virgin Mary & Cross Prayer Coin

A quiet moment of prayer, carried with you.

The Sancta Maria prayer coin brings together the Virgin Mary and an ornate cross in a double-sided piece of devotional art. Deep laser engraving and individual hand finishing reveal the detail in every fold of her veil, rose petal and raised letter.

Carry it as a personal reminder of faith, keep it close during moments of reflection, or give it to someone whose faith is an important part of their life.

A prayer on one side, a light on the other

In moments of uncertainty, a prayer can be the first step forward.

Mary bows her head with her hands joined in prayer, surrounded by roses and a radiant halo of stars. Around her, a border of rosary-style beads leads to a small cross. Above her are the words:

SANCTA MARIA ORA PRO NOBIS
Holy Mary, pray for us.

Turn the coin over and that prayer meets a symbol of guidance. An ornate cross rises against spreading rays, framed by roses and flowing leaves. Its inscription reads:

CRUX SACRA SIT MIHI LUX
May the Holy Cross be my light.

Together, the two sides connect a prayer for Mary’s intercession with a request for the light of the Cross to guide the way. A simple reminder to pause, find strength in your faith and take the next step with hope.

Deep engraving and hand finishing

Both sides are deeply laser engraved, then antiqued and individually hand finished. Darkened recesses contrast with bright raised details, giving depth and definition to Mary’s portrait, the decorated cross and the surrounding floral designs.

The ridged edge completes a piece made to be appreciated from every angle.
