The Pharaoh
A skull wears the striped headdress of a pharaoh, crowned with a raised cobra. Hollow eyes, detailed teeth and a ceremonial beard give the portrait its dark character, while a border of hieroglyph-inspired symbols surrounds the design.
A ruler whose kingdom has fallen silent, yet whose presence remains.
The Guardians
On the reverse, a winged ankh stretches across the centre, flanked above by two jackal-headed guardians inspired by Anubis. Below, paired falcons and curling serpents complete the scene.
The design imagines the entrance to a forgotten tomb: wings spread, guardians watching, and the pharaoh’s story preserved beyond his reign.
Depth & Finish
Both sides are deeply laser engraved, creating sculptural detail you can see and feel. Each coin is then antiqued and completely hand finished to bring out the raised edges, individual feathers and recessed details.
Darkened backgrounds contrast with polished highlights, revealing different parts of the design as the coin catches the light.
